In 2021, the Lord, in His divine providence, led a few of us—Malayalee believers filled with faith and longing—to the land of Mayo, Ireland. Though there was no Malayalam Pentecostal church in the region, God surrounded us with the love and support of English-speaking churches, who became a blessing in our early days.
With hearts burning for fellowship and worship in our native tongue, we began to gather in our homes—brothers and sisters united in Christ. In simplicity and joy, we prayed and lifted our voices in praise. The Holy Spirit met with us powerfully in those humble gatherings, and our homes became sanctuaries of His presence.
For a year, we continued in this sweet fellowship. Because it was our long-standing prayer to have a church in Mayo—a place where we could gather in unity to worship and grow in the Lord—the desire deepened in our hearts. United in prayer, we cried out daily for a place of worship—a house for the Lord in Mayo, where the Malayalam-speaking community could come together freely and glorify God.
In October 2022, the Spirit of God moved mightily. In His perfect time, He raised, not the most qualified by human standards, but the one willing to serve—a vessel chosen to pioneer the work. What began in living rooms was now planted firmly by the Lord’s hand.
From that moment onward, the Lord Himself began to add to the church, one soul at a time—just as He did in the book of Acts. Every step, every door opened, every heart transformed—it is all the work of His Spirit. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23).
To God alone be all the glory, honour, and praise—now and forevermore.
With our fellow believers, we feel a tremendous sense of community. Here, people of all ages are urged to learn more about the Word of God and the function of the church both locally and globally.
By putting the church's mission at the center of who you are, you empower each member to share and live out the gospel in all spheres of life. The activity of faraway missionaries or even pastors is not the only focus of the church's mission. The entire body of believers is meant to achieve.
According to the Living Hope Christian Fellowship, the entire Bible is fully and equally inspired and is the revealed Word of God. The following Declaration of Faith has been accepted by the Church as the norm and authorised statement of its beliefs.
